Annie Chen is the founder and principal designer of CHENDESIGNS, a Los Angeles-based boutique interior design studio crafting timeless, story-driven spaces that balance elegance with ease.
Annie’s passion for interior design began as a little girl growing up in Taipei, Taiwan — endlessly rearranging furniture, sketching floor plans, and noticing the smallest details most people overlooked. After moving to Toronto, Canada, she pursued her love for design professionally, earning a Bachelor of Interior Design from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University).
Her experience at world-renowned studios, including Yabu Pushelberg and Kelly Wearstler, allowed her to gain extensive experience in both luxury residential and hospitality projects. With a growing portfolio of clients around the world, she brings a global perspective to every project, blending the richness of cultural influence with a refined, personal touch.
Annie approaches each space with a trained eye for detail, a love for layered textures, and a belief that great design is rooted in storytelling. Her mission is to craft soulful interiors that feel collected over time and deeply reflective of the people who live in them.
