Annie Chen is the founder and principal designer of CHENDESIGNS, a boutique interior design studio in Los Angeles crafting timeless, story-driven spaces that balance elegance with ease. As an Asian interior designer in LA, Annie brings a global perspective to the Southern California design landscape, blending cultural richness with modern sophistication.
Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan and later based in Toronto, Canada, Annie earned her Bachelor of Interior Design from Toronto Metropolitan University. Her career includes tenure at Yabu Pushelberg and Kelly Wearstler, where she developed a refined approach to luxury residential and hospitality design—bridging large-scale standards with the personal touch required for private homes.
Today, Annie is known for interiors that feel collected rather than decorated, rooted in storytelling, layered textures, and the belief that a home should reflect the people who live in it.
